Having said that…Aloha and welcome to PUBLIC LIBRARY. The whole idea of this site is based on and around the convenience of the internet and the ability to absorb countless information that is at our fingertips at any given moment. I hate to date myself, but when we were younger, information in general wasn’t as accessible as it is today, which wasn’t necessarily such a bad thing…just how it was.

I used to and still love spending hours in the library. At random, I would pick a card from the catalogs…sometimes I would find a card that I had no interest in, while other cards would spark no interest…none the less, I was still learning.

Our specific focal point here at DWDCML is the 700.00 Series, the official break down of Arts, according to Melvil Dewey in 1876. Rather then try and cover everything in the world, we are going to try and focus particular on these sections. Not to say that we are pigeon holing ourselves, because that would be ignorant…haha, but for the most part we will be covering Art & Music related material.

Again, thank you for taking the time to read our posts and please enjoy.

Mahalo-
